Our Animal Bedding Dump station is designed to protect technicians from breathing airborne particles of waste bedding, dander, animal waste and food particle when dumping soiled cage bedding. The Mo-Hep is specifically designed for lab animal non-quarantine situations. Its mobility and easy access allows you to work along side your changing station or designated areas for dumping cages.
CUSTOMER DRIVEN:
We have listened to our customers need for a practical and efficient design that transforms what they work with everyday, a lined trash can dumping cages. With nothing to set up, the technician just rolls the lined waste can into the MO-HEP, turns on the blower/filtration switch and begins dumping cages. When full, the Technician seals
the bag within the unit to insure contamination control.
TESTING:
View the Smoke Test Video which demonstrates how efficient the capture is maintained at the opening to the dumping area.
CONSTRUCTION:
The Mo-Hep is constructed of impact resistant Polypropylene. Room air, dust, particulate and gaseous vapors are pulled through the dump orifice and then through filters by a 110 Volt/ 60 Hz blower operating at 140+ CFM. HEPA exhaust is standard.
PERSONEL PROTECTION:
We always recommend the use of proper personnel protection as a primary means of protection. Wether you are working in a dump station, changing station or biosafety cabinet, they are all secondary containment devices.
